Each bright and airy room is finished with nautical colours and decor, some quirky, some artistic. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a comfortable space flanked on one side by a large window drawing in natural light and offering stunning views of Fowley at the same time. Inviting sofas sit under exposed ceiling beams with the comfort of a wood burner to one side. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for creative foodies, with the dining table only a tablespoon’s throw away. The en-suite double bedroom and spacious twin bedroom on the first floor are beautifully finished, with a charming family bathroom off to the side. The balcony beyond the lounge has a table and chairs for enjoying alfresco meals against a stunning backdrop.
Polruan Back Beach sits directly underneath the cottage and is a sandy portion of paradise for sunbathers, sandy castle builders and swimmers. Polruan is a charming village with a bustling quayside, with numerous pubs and restaurants scattered across its winding streets. Hop on the ferry to Fowey (1 mile) for more of the same or head off on the South West Coast Path (within 500 metres) and absorb natural wonders including Gribbin Head.
